Kidnapped From Beauty Parlour Hours Before Wedding, 19 YO Punjab Girl Found Later By Police

Hours before her wedding, a 19-year-old woman from Muktsar in Punjab was allegedly kidnapped outside a beauty parlour. According to the New Indian Express, she was later found by police near the Ferozepur bus stand. She had been left there by the abductors.

According to SSP Manit Singh Dhesi, 2 of the 6 accused have already been arrested. He added that the girl was apparently involved with one of the kidnappers, but her parents were against the relationship as he was apparently addicted to drugs.

Punjab CM Amarinder Singh tweeted about it as well.

The woman was kidnapped at gunpoint and placed in a car. The entire incident was captured on CCTV. Efforts are on to catch the rest of the accused.
