No one likes evening shifts, or morning, but especially evening. On 8th November, 2016 – I was on one. Bored beyond imagination, I finished my work at 7 PM and had my bags packed to leave.
Cut to, 1 AM and I am still there. PM Modi said he has an announcement to make, which turned out to be demonatisation.
I still think I had it easy, though. People, in the middle of things, were hit hard by the news and here are some of them sharing their experiences:
