4 Killed After Lorry Crashes Into Community Centre In Tamil Nadu’s Madurai

Four persons were killed when a speeding lorry rammed into a village community centre at perumalpatti near Madurai on Thursday.

Five persons were trapped under the debris after a portion of the building housing the centre, collapsed in the impact, the police said. 

While four died on the spot, one of them was rescued and admitted to the government hospital. 

A case had been registered and the lorry driver had been detained for investigation, police said.
