A 7-Year-Old Takes Stand Near The Parliament Urging PM Modi To Pass The Climate Change Law

Climate change due to global warming is the conflict of the hour and the big debate of this generation. 


From air pollution, water-scarcity and drought-like situations across the country, it seems like India is bearing the full brunt of climate change.

According to Business Standard, in order to draw PM Modi’s attention regarding climate change, a 7-year-old girl named Licypriya Kangujam took the initiative to stand near Parliament with a placard.

Times Now

The placard read, “Dear Mr. Modi & MPs, pass the climate change law & save our future. The sea levels are increasing & the Earth is becoming hotter. They should act now.”

The 2nd standard student, hailing from Manipur, has vowed to address the ministers at the helm, so they can find a way to ease the burden of global warming on our planet.
