70% Are In A Relationship, But 95% Are Virgins. What An IIT-B Survey Revealed About Its Freshers

In order to better appreciate the diversity among the new students to the institute, IIT-Bombay has conducted a survey of its 2015 batch. Inspired by the Harvard Crimson’s Freshmen Survey, the batch was surveyed on diverse topics like their relationship status, their background before entering IIT, their political, religious and personal beliefs and plans post-graduation.

Insight, IIT Bombay’s campus newspaper conducted the survey in which a total 254 of the 875 freshmen who entered through the entrance examination participated.
