CEO Of A Bank In Mumbai Has Been Booked For Sending Obscene Messages To Female Employee

In a case of sexual harassment at the workplace reported from Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai, a CEO of the branch of a Scottish bank was booked on allegations of sending obscene messages to a female employee.

The woman who filed the complaint at BKC police station with the texts as evidence, said that the 50-year-old CEO had been harassing her for over a year even as the employee asked him to stop several times. She mentioned that the CEO sent obscene messages at all hours of the day, Mid Day reported.

The CEO sent messages telling the woman that he loved her and wished to meet her after office, when the woman realised that he won’t stop despite her warnings, she decided to lodge an FIR, DNA reported.

Although the FIR has been registered under Section 354, no arrests have been made in the case so far.
