Last morning, Article 370, which gave special status to the state was abolished with immediate effect. It was also declared that the state will be divided into two Union Territories: Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh; the latter without legislation.
It has been more than 24 hours since the Home Minister informed the Parliament about the government’s decision but to a lot of people, it still seems unreal. While some are happy about it, some are sad beyond measure.
