After Air India, Now SpiceJet To Reserve Seats For Solo Women Flyers

After Air India, now SpiceJet will now reserve seats on its flights for women passengers traveling alone.

According to Hindustan Times, from March 8 the fourth row of seats in all flights will be reserved for lone women travelers.

Times of India reports that the move has been carried out to offer comfort and better safety to women passengers.

HT also reports that women traveling alone on March 8– International Women’s Day will also be given a free upgrade to SpiceMax seats. These seats offers extra leg-room and a complimentary meal.

Earlier in January, Air India rolled out a similar offer. The airline reserves the entire third row of an aircraft or six seats for women passengers traveling alone on domestic flights.
