After Getting Beaten Up, JNU Professor Delivers Kick-Ass Speech In This Viral Video

Yesterday, a mob – allegedly lawyers – beat up some JNU teachers and journalists present at the Patiala House court for a hearing on the arrest of JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar.

Among them was Dr Rohit, Assistant Professor of Economics at the Centre for Economic Studies and Planning, who later delieved a speech about his experience at the court

When refused seats, the faculty members asked the mob where is it written that seats were only for lawyers. This was when the angry lawyers began to thrash them, according to Rohit. “They started pushing us, so we built a human chain. They began to beat us but we stood there,” he said.

He added that “unhone galat logon ke saath panga le lia hai (they are messing up with the wrong people).
