In yet another attack on celebrity Twitter accounts, senior journalists Barkha Dutt and Ravish Kumar’s handles were hacked on Saturday night.

The hackers posted offensive tweets and also put out Dutt’s emails

‘Legion’, the group behind similar attacks on the accounts of Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi and business magnate Vijay Mallya, claimed responsibility for the incident.

In a series of tweets, the hackers said, “We use Twitter as a means to reach the public. We don’t just hack twitter accounts. Go through the data and find out.”

The tweets were immediately deleted and both Twitter accounts have been restored.

After the online attacks on its journalists, NDTV posted a statement asking courts to take strong action in the matter.

The hacking group also warned that the next online attack will be against former IPL chairman Lalit K Modi.
