While Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan continues to be at the receiving end of the tirade directed against him for his comments on rising ‘intolerance’ in India, prestigious diary brand Amul has come up with a sharply funny take on the brewing controversy.

Known for its witty adds and subtle humor, Amul.coop on Wednesday tweeted a graphic image caricaturing Aamir along with his wife. In the image, Aamir is shown consoling his wife Kiran Rao who is packing her bags, while as Amul’s trademark mascot, sad-looking Amul Girl offers a butter toast to her.

The advertisement draws its catch phrase form Aamir’s famous movie ‘3 Idiots’ asking “all izz well or all izz hell?

The diary brand also uploaded the image on its Facebook page.

At an award function on Monday, the actor expressed his concern over the growing incidents of violence against writers and minorities in the country and said his wife Kiran Rao even suggested that they should probably leave the country.

However, the 50-year-old came under criticism from all quarters including the ruling BJP and the Bollywood industry. A day after the controversy, Aamir came up with a detailed statement clarifying his stance that he was a proud Indian and will never leave the country. He, however, refused to take his comments back.
