Business tycoon Anand Mahindra highlighted something every important with his recent tweet.

He said that working women have it tougher than working men because of family responsibilities.

Talking about the topic, he posted:

As sad as it sounds, this is the reality for most working women.

As a woman, you start apologising for your professional success without even realising that you are.

And more often than not, it results in overcompensation.

You want to take care of everything at home, because that’s your ‘responsibility’. Or so you are taught.

And while a lot of us are trying to fight this dilemma, we end up falling in the trap.

Taking care of household work shouldn’t come as a default for women and it is something we need to keep repeating until people understand it fully.
