Anti Terrorist Squad Arrests Suspected Bangladeshi Terrorist From Muzaffarnagar

A suspected Bangladeshi terrorist, Abdullah,  associated with Islamic extremist group Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) was arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) from Muzaffarnagar on Sunday. 

According to Asim Arun, IG, ATS, Abdullah was arrested from Kutesara locality in Charthawal area of Muzaffarnagar district by an ATS team. 

He was living in the area for the past one month and was earlier residing in Deoband area of Saharanpur since 2011. He also had a fake Aadhar card and passport. 

Abdullah, during the preliminary investigation informed police that he was living with another Bangladeshi man Faizaan and was arranging fake identity cards for other terrorists to reside in India with valid proof, reported News Nation.  

Acting on the information provided by Abdullah, the UP ATS has set out to look for Faizaan and has arrested two other suspects from Shamli meanwhile.

Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) is an al Qaeda inspired Islamic extremist group in Bangladesh.
