Indian Express reports that after a complaint filed by Kamal Didi, the police arrested owner Naeem Rabbani and one of his employees for deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class.

While the hotel was sealed by the municipal corporation for not producing a license for its operation, Jaipur (West) Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ashok Kumar Gupta called the beef rumours “baseless”.

Gupta added that those living around the hotel were miffed with the hotel staff constantly throwing non-vegetarian food waste in the open, which in turn was being consumed by the cows, reports Deccan Chronicle.
