Anupama Chopra Reviews ‘Dilwale’ And Gives It One-And-A-Half Stars. Here’s Why

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are reuniting for a film after years. Their return and the promise of the renewal of their famous on-screen chemistry was what audiences had to look forward to in Dilwale.

Reviewing the film for Film Companion, Anupama Chopra says that she entered the hall knowing not to expect logic, but the film still left her very disappointed.

She says she tried to buy the fake locations, the car porn and the infantile comedy but she just couldn’t.

“It’s lazy writing designed to succeed, but even if it does, you’ve to ask why are the most powerful names in the business content with doling out recycled mediocrity,” says Chopra.
