A day after he took oath as Delhi’s 20th Lieutenant Governor, New Lt Governor Anil Baijal on Sunday joined microblogging site Twitter in an effort to seek a more productive engagement with the people of Delhi and media.
In his first tweet, Baijal wished Delhiites on New Year.
He also followed Twitter handles of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee.
However, much before Baijal joined the microblogging site, several fake Twitter handles in his name had cropped up on Twitter, as is the case with most public figures and celebrities.
But what caught our eye was their trolling of Delhi CM Kejriwal and previous LG Najeeb Jung, given the not-so-friendly relation between the two.
These fake handles seem to be run by either Modi or Kejriwal supporters or just trolls. Because while are entering into war of words with AAP supporters, others are obsessively retweeting tweets of BJP leaders like Modi, Sushma Swaraj, Smriti Irani and Ravi Shankar Prasad.
