‘The Ground Is Shaking!’ Terrifying Video Captures Avalanche Hitting Mt Everest Base Camp

An avalanche hit the Mount Everest, claiming 18 lives and leaving minimum 61 injured. It was triggered by an earthquake, measuring 7.9 magnitude on Saturday, April 25, leaving 3218 dead (death toll at April 27, 11:35 am) and thousands injured in Nepal.

The footage uploaded by German mountaineer Jost Kobusch , captured the very moment when the climbers realised that the land was shaking.
