In A Medical Miracle, Bangladeshi Woman With 2 Wombs Delivers Twins 26 Days After Having A Baby

For 20-year-old Arifa, life took a strange turn after she got to know that she was pregnant with twins, just 26 days after her first delivery.

What she thought was a normal stomach ache, turned out to be labour pains as doctors told her she has two uteruses and is pregnant with twins, reported BBC.

She underwent an emergency Caesarean after the ultrasound and delivered the babies without any complication.

Talking about this medical miracle, her gynaecologist, Dr Sheila Poddar told BBC:

When the patient came in we performed an ultrasound on her and found there were twin babies. The babies and her are all healthy. I am very, very happy that everything went well

Arifa and her husband are not financially very stable but the father, in an interview given to BBC said that he will try his best to keep the children happy.
