BJP Leader Offers Rs 1 Crore Reward To Anyone Who Cuts Off Owaisi’s Tongue

Offering rewards to people to cut off the tongues of ‘anti-nationals’ seems to be the flavour of this season. After JNUSU President Kanhaiya Kumar, it’s now AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi who is in the firing line.

Shyam Prakash Dwivedi, regional vice-president of BJP youth wing in Allahabad has announced a reward of Rs 1 crore to anyone who cuts off Owaisi’s tongue.

Dwivedi called Owaisi a traitor and said he has no right to live in India.

“I believe he is a traitor and if he has any objection in saying ‘Bharat Mata ki jai’ then he does not deserve to stay in the country. His tongue should be cut and anyone who does will be rewarded with Rs 1 crore.” Dwivedi said, according to this report by CNN-IBN

Earlier, Dushyant Tomar, an ABVP leader in a Meerut college, announced Rs 21,000 as reward to the person who cuts the tongue Owaisi, reports The Asian Age

Owaisi on March 14 had said that he will not chant ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai,’ even if someone put a knife to his throat.

His comments came against the backdrop of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s suggestion that the new generation needs to be taught to chant slogans hailing mother India.
