BJP MPs To Contribute Rs 10,000 Each For Chennai Flood Relief

Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today announced that a ll BJP MPs will contribute Rs. 10,000 each for Chennai flood relief.

The Bharatiya Janata Party asked its MPs to be present in House for the remainder of the winter session of Parliament.

According to an official statement, Chief Minister’s relief fund has received a total amount of Rs 96.53 crore from various companies and individuals for flood relief work in Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu, reports The Times of India .

Recently, donations were received from well- known actor Rajnikanth — an amount of Rs 10 crore. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan donated Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund for the Chennai flood victims on behalf of Red Chillies Entertainment and team “Dilwale”.
