From packaged water to theatre,Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha a.k.a Amma is known for endorsing a wide range of products across the state. However, it struck a completely wrong note during the floods when party workers attached Amma’s pics on relief material.
But in Coimbatore, Brand Amma was taken to a whole new level as her pictures were seen on the foreheads of couples getting married on Friday during a mass marriage ceremony. It was organised by AIADMK on the eve of Amma’s 68th birthday, reports The NEWS Minute.
Amma was not present in the event but party workers left no stone unturned to ensure that her blessings could be felt through her posters and pictures on the foreheads of each and every couple.
