In a strange turn of events, two weeks after her wedding, a bride from MP eloped with the priest that performed the rites.
Reportedly, three days after her wedding on May 7, the bride came over to her parents’ place. Vinod, being the city’s local priest again had to perform rituals at another wedding when they both planned on skipping town.
After the villagers started looking for the both of them, it was revealed that the woman ran away with jewellery worth Rs 1.5 lakh and Rs 30,000 cash. It came to everyone’s notice that both the girl and the priest fled away together.
