“Brother Kuldeep Going Through Hard Times”: BJP Lawmaker Sympathizing With Rape Accused

After being expelled from the Bharatiya Janata Party, Unnao rape accused Kuldeep Singh Sengar has been in the limelight for quite some time.

The prime accused in the Unnao rape case, Senger has found support from his fellow BJP lawmaker. 

Ashish Singh Ashu, a BJP lawmaker from Uttar Pradesh spoke in favour of his expelled colleague wishing he would walk out from jail soon, reports NDTV

Speaking at a Panchayat event near Unnao, Ashish Singh Ashu said: 

Our brother Kuldeep could not be here among us today as he is going through difficult times. Our best wishes are with him. We hope that he will overcome the bad times, fight through it and come out of it and be with all of you. Wherever we are, our best wishes are with him.

A CBI investigating team has also asked for all the details of the politician’s visitors in jail after the rape victim’s family alleged that Sengar engineered the road accident, which killed the victim’s mother and lawyer. 

Discovery of Crime

Kuldeep Singh Sengar has been in jail for over a year for allegedly raping a teenage girl two years ago.
