Budget 2017 Unlikely To Be Postponed Due To Sudden Death Of Former Union Minister

With the sudden death of former Union minister and Indian Union Muslim League leader E Ahmed, there is a possibility that the Union Budget might be postponed for a day. However, government sources informed ANI that the Budget will be presented as planned. An obituary for the leader might take place before or after the Budget.

The MP from Kerala’s Mallapuram suffered a cardiac arrest during the President’s address to the joint sitting of Parliament yesterday. At around 2.15 PM, he was shifted to the RML trauma centre’s ICU where he was put on ventilator and breathed his last.
