We’ve seen it and now we know that Detective Byomkesh Bakshy is definitely going to be no run-of-the-mill, ordinary, song dance film. Dibakar Banerjee has made sure of that.
These few good men, and women, at A Grinning Tree Production , joined hands with Mr Banerjee and Yash Raj Films to produce a poster so mindbogglingly original, that you’ll end up envying their talent.
Employing the dark, but trusty, Bengal Noir genre of graphic novel art, they sketched, re-sketched, added colour, perfected details, to create a masterpiece.
If you appreciate art, you will admire this. If you are a Bollywood-buff, you would be amazed by this. And if you are a Bengali (like the author), you will LOVE this.
