Shah Rukh Khan Donates Rs 1 Crore For Chennai Flood Victims

On Twitter, the #SRKDonates1CroreToChennai hashtag has started trending. A few twitter handles have managed to get a photo of (what looks like) an official statement released by Red Chillies Entertainment, a production house which is run by Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan.

The last time when Shah Rukh Khan had expressed his support for the flood victims of Chennai was on December 3.

ScoopWhoop has tried to reach to the Public Relations Department of Red Chillies Entertainment for confirmation and their reply is still awaited.

Meanwhile, fans of SRK have started tweeting out their respect for the actor:

The worst flood in a century hit Chennai and many celebrities have made their contribution to help the flood victims of Chennai.

South Indian star Siddharth have made one of the most significant contribution s when he abandoned his comfort zone to volunteer in the relief works of the city. Other stars like Rajnikanth have also donated money for the rehabilitation of the cause.
