Chhattisgarh TV Anchor Discovers About Husband’s Death While Reading News Live

Supreet Kaur, a news reader at Chhattisgarh’s private IBC-24 channel, displayed some stellar commitment towards her job when she read the breaking news of her husband’s death in a road accident, reports Hindustan Times.

Kaur kept her calm through a live news bulletin on Saturday morning as a reporter phoned in a report about an accident involving a Renault Duster vehicle in the Mahasamund district of Raipur earlier in the day. Three people were killed in the accident, one of whom was her husband.

The couple had been married just a year ago.

Kaur reportedly guessed her husband might have been among the dead as the reporter spoke about how the accident took place. However, she kept reading the news and checked on him only after the end of the bulletin.
