Two children from Kanpur have written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking help for their father who suffers from asthma, following which the PMO promptly ensured his treatment at the district hospital.

The patient, Saroj Mishra, was admitted to the hospital after the PMO directed the Kanpur DM to ensure his proper medical care. The DM, in turn, instructed the Chief Medical Officer of the city to ensure his proper treatment. Mishra (50), a resident of Naubasta, is a tailor by profession and has been suffering from asthma for the past two years. He has been facing financial problems after which his children wrote to Modi asking for medical help for their father.
