January 26 on wards All India Radio will have a new music channel Ragaam, which will play classical music only.
Although they have described it to be a ‘New Year’ gift, which technically means a gift presented on the first day of the year, it is being launched on Republic Day.
Nevertheless, the news may come as a pleasant surprise to all classical music lovers. The live streaming will be available on DTH platform and on AIR website.
Ragaam will play wide variety of Indian classical music. This initiative is expected to make lives pleasantly engrossing.
