Krishna Kumar Speaks Up After Cop In Lucknow Smashed His Typewriter

Recently, images of a cop smashing an on old-man’s typewriter on a roadside in Lucknow went viral. Following the social media outrage, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav not only ordered the suspension of sub-inspector Pradeep Kumar, but presented two typewriters (with English and Hindi typeface) to Krishna Kumar on Saturday, September 19.

The cop is seen kicking and smashing the typewriter that was the only source of income for 65-year-old Krishna Kumar in Lucknow. The old man has now spoken up about the incident. He said such police officers ruin the entire profession’s reputation with such actions.
