Cricket Match Turns Into An Ugly Wrestling, Bat-hitting Brawl On Field In Bermuda

Cricket has always been deemed a gentlemen’s game. Over decades many legendary players across the world have preserved the integrity and reputation of this wonderful game through their consistent gameplay and positive attitude on the field. Then there are times when some players not only shame the game but also disrespect the ardent lovers of this beautiful game.

Recently, during a cricket match during the Champion of Champions final at the St David’s Cricket Club Ground, Bermuda, Bermudian cricketer, Jason Anderson, was banned for life for his role in an ugly brawl on field.

Anderson, playing for Cleveland County Cricket Club, picked a fight with Willow Cuts Cricket Club’s George O’Brien during the match which turned into a furious fight on the field. O’Brien was also banned from all cricket for a period sufficient to include six 50 over matches.
