Watching Dadri Victim’s Son Say ‘Saare Jahan Se Acchha’ Despite The Tragedy Gave Me Goosebumps

Saare jahan se acha, hindustan humara, mazhab nahi sikata aapas main bair rakhna ,” said Corporal Mohammad Sartaj, working in the Indian Air Force, whose father Mohammad Akhlaq was lynched by mob over beef rumours in Dadri, Uttar Pradesh.

Those words come from Sartaj at a time when his brother Danish is struggling hard for his life in a hospital after he was beaten up as punishment for allegedly eating beef on Eid and storing it for later consumption.

During an interview to NDTV , Sartaj said that he still believes in the system and that the people of the nation can’t be blamed for this incident except for the few who are responsible for the tragedy.
