Senior DD News anchor, Neelum Sharma who’s been associated with Doordarshan for over 2 decades passed away today, 17th August 2019.
A strong advocate of women empowerment, she was also conferred with Nari Shakti Puraskar in 2018 and was well known for her anchoring in programmes like Badi Charcha and Tejasvini on Doordarshan.
Tributes started pouring in on Twitter soon after her demise.
