Delhi’s Odd-Even Scheme Begins Today Amidst Catastrophic Air Quality In The National Capital

The Delhi government promised to re-launch the odd-even scheme to curb traffic and pollution from November 4. 

Apart from being an able car rationing system to curb pollution in Delhi, this also saves people from maddening traffic, which is a common sight in Delhi-NCR.

Introduced in 2016, the rule has been initiated amid heavy smog and threatening AQI, for the third time in the National Capital.

After the first few hours of the rule ensured smooth traffic, we look at how netizens felt about it on day 1. 

While many were in favour of this iconic scheme, others believed the real cause of pollution lies elsewhere and that AAP’s rationing of cars will not be beneficial.
