There was a pile up of around 20 cars on the Yamuna Expressway on Thursday morning due to dense smog affecting visibility. Many of the travellers were injured in the accident and were taken to nearby hospitals, reports The Times of India.
A case was also registered in connection with the incident.
Meanwhile, Delhi’s air quality remained ‘severe’ on Wednesday with a thick smog engulfing the Delhi-NCR region, few days after Diwali.
