Ex-Gujarat Cop DG Vanzara’s Dance Celebrating His Release Is All You Need To Watch Today

Former Gujarat cop DG Vanzara, who spent eight years in prison after being charged with two fake encounters, returned home to a hero’s welcome on April 2. 

He received a warm welcome by family and friends at the airport and, later in the evening, supporters held an event at Town Hall, Gandhinagar, to celebrate his return. 

Vanzara, who arrived in a Mercedes limousine gifted by his son, showed off his silver sword, which was presented to him by his family, before ‘taking on the stage’. And his celebratory ‘sword dance’ is something you really can’t afford to miss!

Charged with the fake encounter of Ishrat Jahan and Sohrabuddin Sheikh, Vanzara was granted bail in February, 2016, on the condition that he would stay out of Gujarat, until a special CBI court granted him permission to return on April 2.
