Congress leader Digvijaya Singh’s daughter youngest daughter Karnika Singh died in New Delhi on Friday after a long battle with cancer. She had undergone treatment for the disease in the US as well.
While most politicians, journalists and people from different walks of life took to Twitter to extend their condolences and stand by Singh at this moment of grief, shameless ‘bhakts’ grabbed the opportunity to hurl jibes at the bereaved politician.
The trolls were triggered soon after senior journalist Barkha Dutt tweeted out to Singh extending her condolences.
Such was the extent of hate among the ‘bhakts’ that they stooped so low as to call Karnika’s death a result of Singh’s ‘Karma’ and ‘misdeeds’. The reactions were so harsh and unsympathetic that it would put humanity to shame.
