Electric DTC Buses Have Been Spotted On Delhi Roads & They Might Soon Be An Everyday Thing

Last year, Delhi government approved the commission of 1000 electric buses in an effort to curb pollution in the city. And it seems like these buses might already be in the test run phases, according to this redditor.

Recently, Redditor, asseesh posted a picture of an electric DTC bus on the roads of Delhi.

Talking to ScoopWhoop, he revealed that the bus was spotted on Inner Ring Road, near Punjabi Bagh Club (West Delhi).

The bus in the picture covers the route from Azadpur Terminal to Lajpat Nagar Ring Road.

Redditor asseesh also reported that the bus was seen running like any other DTC bus with passengers.

Although we are not sure if this is just a trial run, or the electric buses are fully functional in Delhi, this is surely a piece of good news.

If you too have seen these electric buses on the roads of Delhi, let us know in the comments below.
