A former student of British Columbia got a vacation picture which would remain the most remarkable forever. On his recent visit to Thailand, he earned himself an ‘elphie’ – that is, a selfie clicked by an elephant.

Christian LeBlanc was feeding an elephant when it grabbed his camera and started taking random snapshots. One among those shots ended up being an ‘elphie’ shot by the elephant with the help of its trunk, reports The Indian Express .

The aww-dorable ‘elphie’ has gone viral on social media after 22-year-old LeBlanc posted it on his Instagram account.

“I was taking photos and feeding the elephant bananas until I ran out of bananas and the elephant grabbed my GoPro while the camera was set to time-lapse,” he said.

“Elephants are incredibly intelligent and it definitely makes you wonder if it was a conscious action,” LeBlanc added.

“It’s definitely my best selfie and quite possibly the best ever,” claims LeBlanc.

In another weird selfie incident, a black macaque took a selfie with award-winning photographer Slater’s camera when he was visiting a national park in North Sulawesi, Indonesia.
