Emma Watson Tweets About Alan Rickman Death, Sparks A Debate About Feminism

On Wednesday January 14, when Alan Rickman passed away, fans and fellow actors expressed their condolences on Twitter. 

Emma Watson, who acted with Rickman in Harry Potter series of films also took to social media and condoled his death by tweeting the actor’s quote.

But Watson, who is also a UN goodwill ambassador, probably did not know that many people would berate her ‘for propagating her feminist agenda’. Here’s what they tweeted:
