Eric Cantona’s Video Application For England Manager’s Role Is As Epic As His Goals

SW Staff

Eric Cantona is one annoyed man – and it shows in the legendary Manchester United No 7’s video application for the England job.

The Frenchman, who is known for saying epic things like “I am searching for abstract ways of expressing reality, abstract forms that will enlighten my own mystery,” went all out after England after they were dumped from Euro 2016 by plucky Iceland.

Cantona went on to make fun of England’s decision to exit the European Union. In his heavy French accent, he told them that he was holding a referendum on whether he should be made England coach or not: and people could vote with #CantoYes or #CantoNo.
