Sometime in March, 2019, a young whale was found dead ashore in the Philippines with 40 kg of plastic inside its body. And between the months that led up till today, there have been various other incidents that continue to shock us for the deplorable way we’ve done near irreparable damage to our oceans. 

Oceans cover over 75% of the Earth. And yet, we have managed to pollute them to an extent that marine life is in more danger than it has been during the history of civilisation. 

I would like to say that there’s still time to stop this and save our oceans. But let’s be honest. We need to stop all of this, this very instant, if we have any hope of surviving as a species.
