This Donut Went On A Space Mission. That’s A Small Step For A Donut, A Giant Leap For Donut-Kind

Norwegian scientists have done the impossible. They have sent a donut where no donut has been before — space, the final frontier.

This donut made the difficult decision of sacrificing its life and sprinkles, all in the name of science. A group of young scientists constructed a weather balloon and assembled the video rig, to see how far into space, this brave donut could travel.

They also had a tip for fellow home scientists: To send a donut into space, you need a license.
