Two days after the return of kidnapped Snapdeal employee Dipti Sarna, five people have been arrested on charges of abduction.
According to TV reports, one accused is close to the family. Police says the main plotter is a ‘psycopath’ and he was inspired by Shah Rukh Khan starrer movie ‘Darr’.
Sarna went missing on Wednesday evening after saying that she had boarded an auto-rickshaw she had hired from outside Vaishali Metro Station.
Reports of her going missing went viral on social and Snapdeal initiated an online campaign using #HelpFindDipti.
The nightmare ended on Friday morning at 7 am, when Dipti called her father Narendra Sarna and asked him to pick her up from New Delhi railway station. This is how she was reunited with the family.
Surprisingly, Dipti told the police that she does not want to press charges against her kidnappers. She said the four fed her on time, took care of her and also left a gun with her at some point.
