The footballer had a narrow escape when a non-functional traffic light fell just in front of his car in Kerala, The Indian Express reported.
The legend who was in Kozhikode on Sunday to inaugurate the Nagjee football tournament, had a close shave as the traffic signal which fell on the road, missed the car carrying him by a whisker.
The light has been defunct for years, and fell due to a stampede as fans gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of their beloved star.
