Twitter Tears Into Gautam Gambhir As The MP Skips Delhi Pollution Meeting To ‘Eat Jalebi’ In Indore

Even the Supreme Court’s stringent remarks and the choking citizens of Delhi did not mean anything for officials of the parliamentary committee that had been asked to meet today to discuss the ways to check air pollution in Delhi.

The meeting had been called by Parliament’s Standing Committee on Urban Development. However, the meeting had to be cancelled as only 4 MPs attended: Jagdambika Pal, Hussain Masoodi, CR Patil and Sanjay Singh.

This obviously pissed off people, especially when they saw East Delhi’s MP, Gautam Gambhir commentating at the India-Bangladesh match in Indore. 

The city has been choking for a while now. Schools have been shut and the AQI levels have constantly been recorded at severe levels.
