14 Injured In Grenade Attack As Shopian In Kashmir Bleeds Again

At least 14 civilians, including two minor girls, were injured on Saturday in a grenade attack by militants at a busy market in Shopian district of south Kashmir, police said.

The ultras hurled a grenade at a police party in main town market of this Apple town Shopian, some 52 kilometers from the summer capital Srinagar.

The grenade missed the intended target and exploded in a crowded place, resulting in injuries to 14 people, a police official said.The injured have been rushed to a local hospital.
