A teenage couple who ran away from the village to get married, were caught by the family and were punished by the village Panchayat in Chota Udaipur area in Gujarat.
The girl was asked to carry the boy on her back as the families stood and looked on.
The couple was made to do squats and they were fined 10,000 rupees with a warning to never see each other again. As per the reports, the girl and her family left the village.
