What are the odds of waking up to something so terrifying that you actually don’t know whether it is a bad dream or a harsh reality doomed upon you.
That’s exactly what happened to a man in Gujarat.
According to NDTV, Vadodara resident Mahendra Padhiyar woke up due to a strange noise coming from his bathroom. Just like anyone else, the curious man had to wake up to check what was wrong in his house.
But to his utter surprise, it was a crocodile chilling in one end of his bathroom and giving him an aggressive look with its teeth bared.
Padhiyar immediately called Wildlife Rescue Trust, a Vadodara-based animal welfare organization to rescue the reptile.
The rescue work, which started around 2.45 am, lasted for about an hour. Towards the end, the four-and-a-half-foot-long crocodile was finally captured and taken to a more familiar surrounding.
According to the rescuers, the crocodile had probably strayed into the house from the nearby Vishwamitri river. They said, such a sight is common in Vadodara, as the rivers nearby are home to a number of reptiles.
