While most of us are mourning the loss of 18 lives in terror attack in Uri, a Gujarat-based realtor has taken it upon himself to fund the education and other expenses of the children of all the slain soldiers, reports The Times of India.
Surat-based PP Savani group’s head, Mahesh Savani, has also offered to provide free education and hostel facilities to any of the children who want to study in PP Savani International school.
Explaining why he took the decision, Savani told the newspaper:
“I saw a girl of our Indian soldier crying on the television saying that her father had told her to study hard and become successful.”
Many on social media praised the industrialist for his generous step.
